Monroe High School standout Gleb Veremyev has proven to be one of the most explosive point producers in the state of New Jersey, but recently, while attending the Lincoln Stars main camp, the centerman showcased a different aspect of his game when he dropped the gloves for a mid-game scrap.
Varemyev was selected 31st overall by the Stars in the 2019 United States Hockey League (USHL) Futures Draft, and later that year announced his commitment to NCAA Division I Penn State University for the 2022-23 season.
The 17-year old began his youth hockey career with the New Jersey Colonials, before transitioning to the New Jersey Rockets organization in 2018-19.
Last season Veremyev registered 101 points (47g, 54a) over 81 games with the Rockets at the 16U AAA level.
In three varsity campaigns with the Monroe Falcons, Varemyev has posted 151 points (71g, 80a).
